About Me

I live in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband Jake and my border collie, Elinor (named after the economist, Elinor Ostrom). I’m Leslie Knope-levels obsessed with my town and outside of work, I serve on the Cultural Resources Board for the city to support our thriving arts and culture scene. 

In my free time, I love learning Sanskrit (shoutout to Professor Edwin Bryant), meditating (shoutout to Drala Mountain Center), and traveling with my very intense friend group (you know who you are).

Fun Facts

  • I’ve traveled to over 25 countries on 5 different continents.

  • I’ve lived in 5 different states in my adulthood: Florida, Washington D.C., Indiana, California, and Colorado.

  • My first job growing up was making balloon animals, performing in magic shows, and painting faces.

  • Some of my on-again-off-again hobbies include Crossfit and circus sports (flying trapeze, lyra, silks).

  • I’m passionate about nervous system regulation techniques, which healed my chronic pain.

Professional Background

I have over 10 years of experience supporting nonprofits and startups in the workforce development space with 0 to 1 challenges related to strategy, product, and operations. 

I spent the first 4 years of my career working for several nonprofits in higher education committed to facilitating lifelong learning, Socratic dialogue, and civic engagement. My early career was focused on event planning, program management, curriculum development, and partnerships. 

After that, I joined Pathrise, a Y Combinator-backed startup in the job search space, as their third hire. In my 6 years at Pathrise, I helped them scale from seed stage to Series B and $26 million in annual revenue. My roles included Head of Operations, Chief of Staff, and Senior Product Manager.

Current Projects

My long-term career goal is to support as many early stage founders as I can at scale. I wrote about my career discovery journey here, if you’d like to learn more. I’m currently exploring the possibility of pursuing a Platform Manager role at a VC firm or building my own advising and consulting business. 

In the meantime, I’m supporting the Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator (Jun-Sep 2024) as a Program Associate!
